But staff in one Doncaster underwear store are offering romantic guys plenty of support in their quest to surprise girlfriends and wives this weekend after claiming the number of fellas buying lingerie for their partners has nearly doubled over the last few weeks.
Bosses from the Wonderbra, Playtex and Shock Absorber store, at Lakeside Village shopping outlet, reckon more men than ever before are taking the plunge and getting their hands on sexy gear for their partners
Traditionally men have been too embarrassed to walk into shops full of bras and knickers.
And often the ones who do pluck up the courage come undone by picking ill-fitting underwear.
